Hi There Just Bought A New Performance Filter Not Very Bright When It Comes To These Things. Do I Just Pop It In Place Of The Other One Or Am I Best To Do Somthing To The Existing Air Box To Help It Along. Cheers

Hi, You can "just" pop it into the filter box as you would the regular filter. You can drill holes in the air box if you'd like to, but.... You will be drawing in hot air from the engine compartment. This will actually retuce the engines performance, unless you have some cold air feeds to direct cold air to the box. You could always pick up a second hand air box and experiment.. :) Des. . . ;)

Do you remove the MAF to fit a cone filter? I have modified the air inlet that pokes out from the radiator top. Instead of a downward facing scoop it is now a fwd facing scoop ('95 855 t5) Currently running a K&N panel filter but thought I would try for more induction noise with a cone and cold feeds.
