Just had a look at your piccy and taking a more pragmatic view, if part of the issue is that you cant always remember where you are in the arrangement, do what I do. You are already using markers, so just label each one for each section & it will be a lot easier to remember where you are in the changes. I generally use "intro" "verse" "chorus" as my reminders, but also label each verse, chorus etc with a number so I knw exactly where I am. That would at least help with part of this.

so I never record anything I cant play from start to finish i guess reaper could help technically with trying different arrangements but,..Ive always played with other people so Im used to an "organnic" approach i just change the midi patterns as I go along\ that said it is really hard to remember changes
