The Subharmoniconist - Muffled Grunting (full album)

Here we go. Here's the full 'album' as one seamless mixed video. This was a series of jams done over the course of a week or two, edited down to a few acceptable moments. Its more a series of experiments than anything else, experimented with further to gain some sort of acceptable 'song' like narrative structure, learn something along the way, and move on to the next set of jams. YMMV, for sure. And thats fine. This isnt made for you, or me, it just is :) Featuring just a Pocket Operator or two, and a Moog Subharmonicon, no overdubs allowed. Recorded to a stereo master, and edited using only that stereo mix, mastering applied for loudness/compression. Full seamless mixed album -

Initially, I didn't have any great expectations for this album, thinking, "oh yeah, just another bunch of random modular bleeps, I guess I'll grind my way through it". But it turned out to be the best thing I've heard in a long time. Great work maxdembo.

Yeah it's surprisingly catchy in that early Warp music sort of way.

Heard my share of muffled grunting from surrounding accomodations over the years...but this is definately superior. :cool:

other m g phenomena exist, I hear them everywhere, waiting for a monorail to come and there it is, gruntiing ..muffled, having a picnic on the moors under a hovering drone, once again....grunts...coming muffled from somewhere??? Maybe it's just 'the rona' times? but take a submarine out to nudge seals these days and more m g reverberating through the hull. It's spreading and full muffler anti-grunt protec is only sane way forward! Can't stress that enough. Maybe -1.3db at 2k ? maybe not ? Pan is good wide! Maad, who is maad? Should've moved triggerings slightly outside the room no? Wet has too much damp, possibly. Climbing fungi! Eh? Nicee Xmaas!

Im still trying to get a weird remix of Bing Crosby White Xmas done, but its not going well tbh :)
